Established in Yorkshire in 1997 , Dovecote Park is a privately owned family business boasting a strong reputation for the exceptional quality of its products and its commitment to innovation as well as industry-leading animal welfare standards . In 2002 , the company made its first significant market impact with the introduction of the first fresh meatball to the retail sector . Subsequently , in 2013 , Dovecote Park started producing frozen beef products for the retail sector after building its individual quick freezing ( IQF ) facility . By 2017 , S + A Fabrications had crafted a bespoke venison processing facility for Dovecote Park , allowing it to house and process red deer on-site . The following year , its robotic dry aging facility was constructed by its sister company , Newtech . This expansion journey culminated in 2019 with the opening of Dovecote Park ’ s Burger King facility , which plays a crucial role in facilitating the provision of Whoppers and Angus burgers to the fast-food giant . Each of these facilities combines traditional British butchery technique with some of the best technological prowess in the food sector .
