With an elaborate emissions reduction strategy in place , the company will primarily achieve its goals through ambitious carbon reduction projects , collaborating with its partners to set annual emissions reduction targets . These key performance indicators ( KPIs ) will then be integrated into its reporting framework to ensure annual objectives are met . In addition to that , Dovecote Park is working alongside its partner farms to assist them in identifying opportunities for emissions reductions .

For Dovecote Park , minimizing the environmental impact of its operations goes beyond merely setting targets to reduce carbon emissions , with ethical agriculture a key principle in its sustainability strategy . As part of this approach , all of its cattle and deer must be fed a forage-based diet and graze on grass for a minimum of one season . When cereals are introduced into their diet , they are either homegrown on the farm or sourced locally . Furthermore , the use of soya in their feed has been discontinued since the end of 2021 , and strict monitoring is in place concerning the use and origin of palm oil , with ongoing efforts focused on transitioning solely to sustainable sources this year .
