It was 1985. Leg warmers and mullets were the rage. Dick was hard up. His big-league plans had failed and opening a laid-back bar full of attitude was all he could muster the strength to do. Dick’ s was really his last resort.

It all began with a man named Dick and an epic failure of a fine dining project in Dallas gone awry. Thankfully, the jokes became synonymous with good food and cold beers and the first Dick’ s Last Resort opened with huge success in the West End in Dallas, Texas. The chain was founded by Richard‘ Dick’ Chase and currently operates 13 locations across the United States, with venues in Florida, Tennessee, Indiana, South Carolina, Nevada, Texas, and Alabama.
