With its family-led values and a dedication to delivering the finest produce, Canadian Fruit and Produce Company( Canadian Fruit) is proudly celebrating 100 years of freshness and quality. The company was founded in 1925 by Louis Weinstein and his brother Sam, who began wholesaling at Colborne Street Market with the purpose of ensuring their families always had food on the table. Specializing in the distribution and supply of melons, in 1954, the Ontario Food Terminal opened, which is now one of Canadian Fruit’ s main facilities. By 1980, the company’ s exponential growth led it to purchase its first warehouse.
Current president Randy Weinstein took over the business in 2006 and has since established its leading Sunvine melon label and acquired a 60,000-square-foot distribution center in Mississauga. The

Sunvine farm is in Langton, Ontario, and the brand was launched on the premise of supporting Ontario and its local agricultural economies while supplying Canadians with high-quality produce that brings the taste of freshness to every bite.
