“ Our founder, Mr. John Bell, served in World War II and was a pilot who became a prisoner of war. Thankfully, he managed to come home after the war safely, and he decided to set up a small bakery supplying the local village,” Rob details.“ Over the course of our evolution, the business has grown to encompass two operating bakeries – a conventional bakery and a free-from bakery. Today, with a team of over 400 people onsite, we partner with all of the UK’ s leading retailers, foodservice groups, and coffee chains, where we develop a diverse range of different products, including our own brand, We Love Cake.”
