CTI FoodTech powers up USA top fruit processor PCP
CTI FoodTech is an Italy based manufacturer of advanced fruit processing solutions, selling its products globally and ranking among the world’ s top fruit pitters suppliers for number of units installed and amount of processed product.
The California based food processing company Pacific Coast Producers began evaluating CTI FoodTech technology in 2023. One year later, the company decided to convert its existing apricot pitting systems to the AP-1800 machines provided by CTI FoodTech.
This led to a further assessment of CTI FoodTech technology, consisting in extensive testing of three 320 ZPF peach pitting units, once again chosen for their superior yield and best sustainability performances. The test results were so positive that in 2025 PCP decided to convert a whole factory in Lodi( CA) to CTI FoodTech machinery.
CTI FoodTech’ s team members say they’ re proud and thankful to work with Pacific Coast Producers and their management because they’ re the world’ s most important reference point for apricot, peach and pear processing. The two companies are currently collaborating on a new project on the Oroville factory for the pear line with the EPC( Electronic Pear Coring) and discussing what the future has in store. ■
