introducing more products throughout the year,” Emilie notes, regarding plans for the remainder of 2026.“ We will also be launching a low-waste meal solution for people wondering how they can turn certain vegetables into meals, making it easier for people to eat well while wasting less.” This month sees the launch of an exciting new app, which Emilie says has been planned for the past four years:“ The majority of our community customize their box every week and the app will make it easier for them. We’ re also planning to add recipes and community engagement features.”
One standout statistic is driving Oddbox to become the UK’ s leading climate-conscious meal solutions provider, Emilie reveals:“ In the UK alone, around 3.3 million tons of food are wasted on farms every year, 2.9 million tons of which is edible food. That’ s about 6.9 billion meals.” The company aims to triple its impact over the next five years by rescuing 150,000 tons of food, while continuing to change how people shop, cook and eat.
“ Ultimately, our goal is not just to reduce waste but to inspire systemic change within the food industry,” Emilie concludes.“ We’ re committed to collaborating widely and transparently, ensuring our impact reaches well beyond our immediate customers and partners. Sustainability isn’ t about perfection, it’ s about progress. At Oddbox, we’ re passionate about enabling everyone to take small, meaningful steps towards a better planet through their everyday food choices.” ■
