Operations began with a contract to serve two chapter houses at a campus in the Midwest . It didn ’ t take long for the company to gain traction , however , and it is now one of the largest providers of Greek food service and food operation management in the US . Despite managing hundreds of accounts from coast to coast , Upper Crust retains a personal touch , always providing custom menus , and excellent service alongside fresh , well-balanced meals . As with any good catering company , food comes first . Bringing fresh , healthy , and exciting meals to Upper Crust members is the driving force behind everything the company does . As shown on the company website , its mission is to “ provide excellence beyond expectations .” Accomplishing that goal , especially with large volumes of hungry mouths to feed and a fast-paced academic environment to operate alongside , is no small order .
